This session provides financial professionals with essential strategies to foster trust, rapport, and enduring relationships with clients.

The session covers key areas, including establishing transparency, effective communication, and empathy in client interactions. Participants will learn techniques for building initial rapport, setting realistic expectations, and delivering on promises. Additional focus areas include educating clients, using technology for secure communication, and proactively addressing client needs.

This session emphasises the importance of trust as the foundation for successful client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.

Speaker Profile


Nigel Tse has been serving clients within Banking and Wealth Management since 2002. Today, Nigel serves his clients, team members and students as a Director of TK Advisers & Associates, LBS Accountants and Board Member of TIIS. Primarily, as a Senior Adviser at TKAA, the team leverage and work in unison with LBS Accountants, AURA Group and Private Lenders; creating better outcomes and enhanced solutions for clients. Nigel specialises in providing investment and financial planning advice for various clients, including executives, healthcare professionals, pre/retirees, business owners and corporates. Prior to current posts, Nigel held Advisory positions at ANZ Banking Group, Westpac Banking Corporation, Citibank, Masu Group, SUMO Group, a boutique Investment Bank and Private Client stockbroking firm.

Nigel is a current Financial Planner AFP® member of the FPA and registered Tax (Financial) Adviser. He holds a Master of Applied Finance, majoring in Corporate Finance and Advisory as well as a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Finance and Financial Economics from the University of New South Wales. Nigel completed both a Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).
